Tata&Squack meet Moyo, the wildebeest named ‘heart’

by | December 2011

Right in front of us is a big brown wildebeest, nibbling grass. Suddenly the wildebeest startles and his eyes grow big with fear. A human being and a strange looking little lion stand in front of him! “Hi,” I stammer, impressed by the gigantic beast, “my name is Tata and this here is Squack.” The wildebeest relaxes and says: “My name is Moyo. Lucky me, I thought for a moment that your friend was a lion. Lions love wildebeest for dinner.” “You don’t have to be afraid of Squack,” I say. “He’s not a real lion.” “So, a unique species,” mumbles Moyo. “I see that you are also unique. What is that heart-shaped spot on your face?” “I was born with it. Therefore my mother named me ‘Moyo’, which means ‘heart’ in Swahili. Sorry, but I have to go on now”, says Moyo. “Could we travel along with you for a little while?”, I ask.  Squack beams at the thought. “Captain Squack on treasure hunt!” … find out how the story continues in Tata&Squack – The Big Journey.
